Actually, I discovered today that the dutch oven isn’t even vitally necessary–I made a loaf today in a cake pan, and it looks entirely lovely. I need to do more research, but I think putting a lid over the loaf is mostly to increase the crustiness of the crust.

Of Course Sandra Lee’s recipes are NOT gourmet - they aren’t intended to be; just fast simple versions of more sophisticaed fare - or ordinary food with a flair. I’ll be honest, I found the negative comments to be cruel; and, to each his own. Some might LIKE her version better than yours …or not .. it’s always a matter of taste, but we don’t have to assisinate someone’s character to prove a point.

i was about to yell at you to cook some food. we could do an exposé on everything that goes into my belly? you could cook, and i could be the belly. let me know what you think. or just cook some things and put some pictures up and write about it because you’re good at that too.

…speaking of, all of this looks GREAT! I am new to loving quinoa and have experiemented some but haven’t found flavors that really compliment it. I am glad I have so many to choose from right here, where to start, where to start!?

i really want to love cooking but im really lazy, would you be up for cooking some vegan stuff with me sometime? i havent switched back yet but i need to start leaning how to cook or just actually doing it and it would be more fun with you and i have recipes and yesh let me know. this is elle by the by!
